Many of the traditional filters and refiners of information are being replaced, obviated or disrupted by new filtering mechanisms. AS a result, students are developing new expectations of their educators and advisors. This session discusses the social and technological dynamics of the new web and seeks to establish a framework for understanding these changes as they continue to eveolve.
