Dr. Jennifer James to Keynote TechEd Tuesday
World Famous Author and Urban Cultural Anthropologist will present
“The Human Face of Technological Change”

Pasadena, CA – TechEd 2006, the 11th Annual Technology in Education Conference & Tech Exposition will present Dr. Jennifer James, respected author and urban cultural anthropologist as keynote presenter on Tuesday, March 28, 2006 , at 9:15 am inside the beautiful and historic Pasadena Community Theater.

Jennifer James is a cultural anthropologist, lecturer, writer and commentator, who is known to audiences around the world for her innovative ideas. She works on an international level with corporations and associations helping people to meet the challenges of today's transitions.  Her speeches and seminars deal with the human face of technological change and the development of thinking skills.  Dr. James is a specialist in areas of cultural change, diversity and marketing intelligence.

“Dr. James’ diverse background brings a unique perspective to TechEd 2006,” says William Neece, conference director. “Audiences around the world have found her presentations to be full of innovation and a common sense.”

Her presentation at TechEd, “The Human Face of Technological Change”, Dr. James will focus on how we are all becoming "cyborgs," part technician and part human consciousness.

She believes the next generation of worker class, dubbed the knowledge worker, or the portfolio professional, has different skills and a different character than any previous worker class.

As she puts it, “Our current leadership assignment is nothing less than the re-making of our traditional workers and our organizations into more civilized and productive cyber forms.”

“We are very proud to have Dr Jennifer James at TechEd 2006!” adds William.
