Technology Powerhouses to be at TechEd 2006 Microsoft joins Apple, Adobe, Gateway, Torque Gaming and many more.
Sacramento – Microsoft, Apple, Adobe, and Torque in Education, are just a handful of the powerhouse sponsors joining over 200 industry leading exhibitors at TechEd 2006, the 11th Annual Technology in Education Conference & Exposition being held March 26 – 29, 2006 at the historic Pasadena Conference Center.
“We are very proud to see the return to TechEd of many of the nation’s leaders in the technology industry,” said William Neece, conference director for TechEd Events, a program of the Community College Foundation.
“TechEd has always been focused on bringing the education community together with real-world technology leaders and finding solutions for the problems facing our nation’s campuses,” he adds, “and this is best accomplished by having the leading companies bring their most innovative thoughts and ideas to the event.”
Industry representatives will not only display their wares as part of the 40,000 sq ft Tech Exposition, but will also provide valuable insight to educators through forums and industry sessions.
Microsoft, one of the biggest players this year, will host several sessions and give attendees an opportunity to find answers to technology integration on their campuses and in the all-important classroom. Apple and Adobe, as well, will sponsor computer labs and hands-on workshops.
Other innovators exhibiting include Gateway, ETS, Scantron, WebCT, SMART Tech, Omni-Update and many, many more.
A full list of exhibitors will be available in the coming weeks. Press passes are available by request.
