TechEd 2006 Provides
Real-World Education Opportunities
Educational Leaders from Around the World Presenting

Sacramento – Sharing The Vision. That is the theme of TechEd 2006, the 11th Annual Technology in Education International Conference & Tech Exposition, coming March 26 - 29 in Pasadena, California and for the organizers of this great event it means “educators teaching educators.”

According to William Neece, conference director, TechEd is “all about real-world solutions where educators come together to learn from those who have found viable, effective solutions to modern educational barriers. We are not simply about fancy gadgets or cool technology, TechEd is about the hands-on learning experience that professionals want to better enable success in the classroom.”

This year’s event promises to bring an even greater hands-on experience than ever before. With over 250 sessions and the help of leaders in the Technology in Education industry like Apple, Adobe, Tool Factory, and Educator Labs, just to name a few, attendees will have an incredible opportunity to understand step-by-step how technology is impacting the learning environment and how they can embrace it to help students succeed in the 21st century.

“What we are offering is truly unprecedented,” adds William. “This truly is a hands-on educational opportunity. It is our mission and my personal passion, to ensure educators from around the world have everything they need to succeed in today’s constantly transforming learning environment.”

Conference topics will include eLearning, Funding Strategies, Administrative Computing, Web Design & Development, Workforce Development, Digital Media, Usability & Accessibility, Technology for Standards-based Assessment & Learning and much more cutting-edge topics covering solutions to the problems our educators are facing every day.

“This is truly our greatest conference ever,” adds William. “After 11 years, technology in education is truly coming of its own. There is no lack of information to share with our attendees and we have educational professionals from around the world converging on the Historic Pasadena Conference Center to learn from the more than 150 experts we have assembled to share their best practice solutions.”
