FAQs about exhibiting at TechEd

Below are the answers to many questions you may have regarding your participation at TechEd Pasadena.

What comes with my TechEd exhibit space? Each 10x10 TechEd exhibit space includes standard pipe and drape (8' draped back walls and 3' draped side rails), a booth identification sign, aisle cleaning, and general event security. Please note that the exhibit hall is not carpeted, and your exhibit booth space does not include furniture, electricity or Internet connectivity.

What other benefits are included in my TechEd booth package? Each standard 10x10 exhibitor booth package comes with the following benefits:

When do I get information about ordering computers and audio/video equipment, electricity, Internet connectivity, and booth decorations? The primary contact for exhibit information from your company will receive an Exhibitor Services Kit from GES Exposition Services approximately six weeks before the conference date. An online version of the kit will also be available. The kit contains information on service providers who are able to provide you with booth necessities including computer equipment, A/V, carpeting, tables, chairs, electricity, Internet, and decorations ranging from plants to hanging signage, etc. GES also has staff available to assist you with your booth set-up and tear-down. For questions about your booth needs, please call GES Client Services at (800) 475-2098.

How do I order phone service for my Exhibit Booth? The Ontario Convention Center provides phone service. Your Exhibitor Services Kit offers a form for ordering phone service.

How do I order Internet service for my Exhibit Booth? Your Exhibitor Services Kit contains an Internet Connectivity order form for basic Internet Service (100 Base T Ethernet and IP addresses).

Will TechEd offer lead tracking? Yes! Information on lead tracking is included in the Exhibitor Services Kit.

How can I keep my booth costs low? With nearly all the services offered to exhibitors at TechEd, there are early deadlines that offer reduced rates. In other words, order early and save!

What time is Exhibitor Set-up and Break-down? All booth staff and members from your organization who attend TechEd must register at the Exhibitor/Sponsors registration counter at the Pasadena Conference Center in order to gain access to the exhibit hall. Exhibitors arriving Sunday, March 25 for set-up must receive a temporary Exhibits Only badge to gain access to the exhibit hall. Temporary badges are also available at the Exhibitor/Sponsors registration counter.

For your reference and your planning below please find the exhibit hall set-up, show hours and take down schedule. As a courtesy we do have the floor on open on Sunday for set-up, by setting up Sunday you can beat the Monday rush! Note, during set-up all exhibitors are required to check-in and receive an ID badge.

Exhibitor Set-up Hours:                        
Sunday, March 25    9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Monday, March 26    8:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

Exhibitor Break-down Hours:
  
Wednesday, March 28   11:30 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
(Please note: Out of respect for the attendees and other exhibitors all exhibits must be in place during the entire conference, any company that dismantles before the end of the conference will be charged a $500 pre-breakdown fee)

Daily Exhibit Floor Hours:         
Monday, March 26    2:45 p.m. -  5:30 p.m.
Tuesday, March 27    10:30 a.m. -  5:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 28    9:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m.
