Attention TechEd speakers!

Below is important information, including deadlines, that you need to know!

Registration Details
The primary presenter (one per session) will receive a complimentary, regular conference registration. (This does not include registration for Pre-conference Workshops.) The primary presenter will be automatically registered and will receive an email confirmation by January 31, 2004. If a confirmation is not received, please contact Maureen Julian at mjulian@TechEdEvents.org, or (916) 418-5157.

As stated in the Call for Presentations form, all co-presenters must register and pay the regular conference fees. If you are the primary contact, please direct all co-presenters to the online registration form at www.TechEdEvents.org by January 31, 2004 to receive the Early Bird registration discount.

Presenter Compensation
Presenters will not receive compensation or reimbursement for any expenses.

Hotel & Travel
Special TechEd conference rates are being negotiated with the Ontario Housing Bureau, Southwest Airlines and Hertz Car Rentals. Detailed rate and reservation information will be available in October. Please check back.  

Technology
Presenters are responsible for bringing their own computer to support their presentation. A 10BaseT Ethernet connection to the Internet will be provided if it is listed under the session synopsis. TechEd will provide an audio system in each session room where it is necessary to amplify sound.

Roundtable Sessions are designed to create a small group dialogue with participants, therefore, we do not provide electricity or an Internet connection. TechEd will provide a round table and 8-10 chairs.

Poster Session presenters, please note that a table, chair and a 4’X8” tack board for each Poster Session will be provided. Electricity and Internet connectivity will be provided for Electronic Poster Sessions only; for Traditional Poster Sessions, please download your materials on your hard drive (if applicable), as Internet connections are not available.

Audio/visual needs: If there are any changes in your audio/visual needs, please email Maureen Julian at mjulian@TechEdEvents.org before January 31, 2004. Last minute audio/visual requests cannot be guaranteed and will be charged to the presenter at the prevailing provider rate.

Conference Registration Brochure
You will receive the TechEd Ontario conference registration brochure in the mail in November. If you would like additional copies to distribute, please email Maureen Julian at mjulian@TechEdEvents.org.

Web Site
Please visit our Web site at www.TechEdEvents.org to review your session information online. If you have any changes, please email them no later than January 31, 2004  so that all updates are included in the printed conference program.

Speaker Ready Room
The Speaker Ready Room is available for speakers to ask questions and prepare for their presentation. TechEd requests that all speakers check in at the Speaker Ready Room at least one-hour prior to their presentation.
